The Leon Blum High School was built in the mid 1975s by Wladimir Mitrovanoff: it is set in the middle of a park, on the banks of the Créteil lake. According to our studies, we will keep the enclosed and sheltered area and create an entrance hall. This very building was designed by an architect and his contractor: it is a piece of architecture that reflects the know-how and the atmosphere of that time. This building however shows now some weaknesses and has some damaged elements. Since we have to work on one of our elder’s masterpiece, our intervention shall be characterized by great modesty. The façade will be covered with some resin panels, aluminium joinery will be used together with zinc roofing.

Contractor: Regional Council of Ile-de-France
